What’s for Breakfast?

If we’re not willing to settle for junk living, we certainly shouldn’t settle for junk food. ~Sally Edwards

Our dining room lodge can be open air during the day with a view of the aspen valley it’s nestled in, but has sides that can come down for the chilly mornings while you heat it up with a little wood stove (we’re happy to start that for you every morning if you ask).  The kitchen is attached to the dining room and has a full-size propane frig, stove, oven, and all necessary cooking supplies so you can bring as many groceries as you like and make some elaborate ranch meals!

We provide numerous breakfast staples so that you can make a healthy and tasty breakfast every morning.  We have a lovely flock of free ranging chickens (whom you will undoubtedly meet) at the ranch headquarters and we usually have some freshly laid eggs available, along with rolled oats, granola, yogurt, bread, butter and jams.  If you stay long enough, our cook sometimes gets ambitious and shares a loaf of her fresh homemade bread, a batch of biscuits, or even Dutch oven sticky buns!  For beverages we always have milk, tea, juice and coffee available.
